Course Overview
We offer an interdisciplinary theatre program for students ages 8–17, blending performance, design, history, literature, art, and STEM into a hands-on, project-based learning experience.
Our programs are designed for homeschool families who have filed appropriately with the state, as well as other alternative education families seeking a structured, creative learning environment. Students will explore Theatre Around the World, audition and callback preparation, and the essential skills actors need to succeed onstage. They will also learn how a full-scale production is created from start to finish, including how all design disciplines: set, props, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup, and effects—collaborate both independently and as a unified team.
Students will apply their learning toward a one-act performance and a final parent showcase. and a presentation of a certificate of completion.
Classes run for four months, meeting Monday through Thursday for three hours each day, with optional Friday field trips as opportunities arise. Mondays and Wednesdays focus on History and Social Studies through the lens of performance and acting, while Tuesdays and Thursdays emphasize hands-on Math and Science through theatre technology and design.
Sessions are offered:
Winter Session: January–May
Fall Session: August–November
Tuition cost: $190 a month. (January is discounted at $150)
(10% discount for siblings)
